We went inside and it looks pretty impressive.
I hope you DON'T need to see it up close and personal.

Fidepaz Hospital gives excellent care.
It serves Mexicans who are federal employees and their dependents with ISSTE insurance and anyone as a private-pay patient.
Many of the doctors who use the Fidepaz facility have their office practice nearby.
Another private pay clinic is the military hospital which is on Forjadores Avenue. The doctors in-clinic also maintain private practice for follow-up
care.

The purple hospital is in the Fidepaz neighborhood and so people usually call it the Fidepaz hospital or the purple hospital. I think the "real" name
is Centro de Especialidades Medicas or something along those lines.

What kind of Dr. do you need?
The boating club in LaPaz - Club Cruseros has a pretty good directory of medical services in La Paz:

I highly recommend the military hospital.
Back several years ago, I returned from a trip from china with a stomach issue
but not wanting to miss any of the good fishing in la paz went directly fishing for 2 days in the summer heat.
Well, no fluids going in and everything coming out made for the worst feeling I ever felt.
We went to the military hospital and they first warned me that they were more expensive than the purple hospital.
2 doctors came and saw me and quickly starting administering a saline IV, but get this, a kind nurse stayed by my side and massaged my arm for 2 hours
to make sure that fluids did not pool in my arm.
4 hours in a private room, 2 docs, 1 nurse, 2 hour massage, medications ---------all for $68 USD
No way to beat that!!!
Make it a Great Day!!
