I'm flying to PV from TJ in January and would love a couple suggestions on where to park.
And I guess we'll need FMT's (or whatever they are calling tourist visas this week)?

There's an INM desk in the airport for your FMMs. Bring a valid passport!

Delta Parking in Otay mesa - $7/day
http://otaymesaparking.com/
Or, if you can have someone drop you off at the entrance to the pedestrian crossing at Otay, it's quick and easy to grab a cab on the other side. It's
a 10-min ride to the airport for $12.00. Another return option if you're flying Volaris is their shuttle, which takes you to the downtown Amtrak
station in San Diego.

Flying out of TJ is a cinch. The TJ airport is one of the best in the world. No problem. Highly recommend.

Within the next year, it will get even easier with the opening of the new cross-border bridge between Otay and the TJ airport. As a frequent flier
out of TJ, I'm really looking forward to this. Not having to schlepp luggage on foot through the pedestrian line on the return will be a godsend.

Chippy - what you pay is what you pay, unless you exceed the 55lb luggage allowance for a checked bag. The secret with Volaris is to check fares
often or register an account with your email address to get fare promotions. I fly to La Paz every two months. In the last year, most of my round
trip fares have been around $80USD. I book far in advance to get the best deals. I've been doing it since Volaris started flying and have never had a
problem. I was disappointed, however when they stopped serving free booze this year. You do have to pay for snacks and drinks now.

We have also had some amazing flights with volaris - $200 round trip to DF from La Paz and yes, you must carefully watch for number and size of
suitcases. You get burned only once and then you learn pretty darn fast to be careful.

Chippy - Not trying to mislead anyone and if you've flown Volaris enough then share your experience. I like to know what others have experienced on
all occasions that have to do with Baja.
Got this deal to Oaxaca out of my usual format which is checking every morn around 3am when I get up and then pushing the date out as far as they
allow to research.
This deal popped up one evening about 4:30pm when just doin' stuff on the internet. It was only good until 5pm! and had restrictions of flying by June
or something...don't really remember. It fit our timing exactly as our anniversary comes up in March! I had been looking for a couple of weeks and the
best I could come up with was about $380 roundtrip for both of us.
The two flights to Oaxaca offered are PIB! Both arrive either late or early. We chose the early arrival 7am...Which leaves TJ at 2:30am! We will have
to blow time until 3pm when we can check into our weeklong apartment rental. For $35 ea way? SO WHAT!
I do really miss the free rum and cokes of the past.

Flew from Monterrey to TJ for $44.00 on Volaris last month. I fly so much I bought the VClub for about 500p and I have saved so much more.
