Few people know the role Tijuana and a couple of other Baja towns played during Prohibition and the Roaring 20's.

The Hipodrome in Tijuana was actually part of a huge casino/hotel resort complex. Famous Big Bands played there and famous people from all over the world went there to enjoy themselves.

My foster mother, who had been a dancer in the Zigfield Follies, also danced at a large resort in Baja - I'm not sure where.
