Just noticed that score has 411X winning the class. It will be interesting to see the explanation, I'll post the answer when I get it.

I was excited about the SCORE live feeds, until I tried to get them to work in Baja! With my download speeds there was nothing working right. I tried the tracking and found it too hungry for bandwidth I guess. It just kept getting stuck and/or not responding.

Is there really enough money to saturate this market with races and rallies? For the next week it will be NORRA for 7 days. They have given a lot of ink to expanding the invitation to Rally Raid teams for this Rally. What is the significance that as of yesterday there was only one team registered in that class? Is there a growing cross-over of professional driver/teams who will bring the big money sponsored teams into NORRA for the exposure and the relatively relaxed pace? Last year's action...

I think there are more entered into the Cortez Rally which is right before and in conjunction with the Norra 1000. Might be why so few entrants.

This list of entries is supposed to cover everyone in both races. https://www.norra.com/vehicle-entries.php

The only Rally Raid car is a USA homegrown family racing Subaru converted grocery getter! More power to them!

Sorry if this is a highjack. I'm already at the next race.

Can't tell from the NORRA page... but looks like quinn Cody (Honda) and Daniel Gonzalez (RPM) in a Bronco will be participating.

Congrates to the 444x team!
Even on a fast connection the live feed only worked for the start and nothing after. The tracking would only show one car at a time, for me and u had to refresh the page to track another. The same tracking company will be used for norra, hopefully improved.
Pedro and his sons are part of our mid baja series races. These are between GN and Loreto and he races them all. He will be batling it out on May 16th, the 100k Mulege night race. Here is a pic of him with his sons a couple of weks ago at a Mulege race. Teams from all the mid baja area clubs raced in the 500.
Robby Gordons, winner take all, 50k prize hasn`t seemed to draw anyboby into thepro unlimited evolution class, according to the norra entry list.
I am looking forward to watching the race from km marker 61, before Loreto, as there are a lot of Funcos entered.

Joe Bolton
Mark vanscourt

A couple of old time SCORE bike racers. I have the 1985 SCORE 1000 tape and it shows a lot of footage of Joe. Mark was in the 1986 Baja 1000 tape.

These guys are driving their race car to the race. They've just reported that with an average speed of 70 mph, they're getting 23 mpg. The have a thousand pounds of pit equipment packed into another station wagon which is team support! I am definitely rooting for these guys. They are only in the first three day event, up north.
