I'm hungry. Years ago we drove up into the mountains out of Elias Calles looking for queso fresco. We saw a few of those types of kitchens at the ranchos we stopped at and we found some great cheese. Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks for the video....brings back some memories....

Nothing is better than food cooked on an open fire, no tortillas better than those slapped into perfection just before you sit at the table....

A great `` day in the life`` video. Beats Starbucks and Taco Bell by miles. Not even a tortilla press to assist. A good presentation of rancho living.

...life's not fair.. well... seems like I'll just have to keep on dreaming 'til next fall, the video is exceptional, the photos are great and watching Pompano having a breakfast of champions in enviable... thanks for sharing...

And if you're on the road passing thru Cataviña stop at the restaurant across the road from the the lobby of Hotel Mision Cataviña, they serve great machaca, tortillas de harina (hand made) and great frijoles refritos... m... mm... mmm... not to say the least about the fresh café de olla.... or a cold one...




...work to camp and fish.... dream to be there....
