Bump, for sail38n,

I so envy those of you who have enjoyed the area over many, many years! You've lived a charmed life. I'm familiar with the locations as they are now. I only wish I had had the opportunity to share a few cold ones and some stories with you all during those good old days. Thank you Roger, and others, for sharing your experiences!

Just simply outstanding, Roger! My first visit and beach-camping was in the mid-late '70's and this sure brought back many happy memories. Been back several times over the years. You have a great talent----both for pictures and for your great comments and storys! Love it all, and I salute you.

As Woody mentioned...
Anyone who has not paid their annual Photobucket hosting fee (free hosting for 3rd party sharing is no longer available) won't get to share their photos until the annual fee (was $49) is paid. The photos are still there but only viewable to the owner of them.
Free photo hosting and still allows 3rd party sharing (ie. posting on forums) is available at www.postimg.org (and select the uploading size to not exceed Baja Nomad max. width of 800 pixels).

The only way these photos get posted again is for the owners to pay the ransom to PHOTOBUCKET!
There are probably thousands of photos on Nomads that have been deleted because of PHOTOBUCKET. We have way too many photos throughout NOMADS that are posted because of photobucket's original free photohosting site.

I know it sucks to pay to play... but for all the thousands of photos and maps I share via Photobucket, the $49/year is worth it. I was paying thirty-something a year already for the additional space I needed, so it wasn't a big big deal to pay another few dollars per year. TW did this as well for his photo and map postings, so I am not alone.

Photobucket has had and still does some issues and is off line sometimes, but it is where I began to house Nomad posting photos in 2008 following Shari's recommendations when we needed a way to share pictures on Nomad without the need (then) to reduce the file size to under 50kbs (it's now 250 kbs) for Nomad to host the pics here.

There is a photo editing program that I use a lot and that is not available on the free postimg.org site.
