San Felipe Trip

Going to San Felipe this weekend. I went for the first time in 2013, haven’t been back. Has anything changed I should know about? I had a blast in 2013 and hope it’s the same. Hotel ideas would be greatly appreciated. Stayed at Hotel El Cortez the last time. We just decided this morning to go, so haven’t planned anything yet.

The El Cortez is still the best place to stay. Try to get one of the beachfront bungalows for a superb sunrise view!

This is memorial weekend the town will be packed. Better have hotel reservations, and be ready for a party.

Good point about this weekend being Memorial 3 day weekend,
in the past this weekend is one of the busiest in SF, also since
it is beginning to warm up, the Mexicali tourists go on the weekends to SF, don't be suprized if you find the town
somewhat full. But a 3 day weekend Sat. nite on the Malecon in SF with
the sights and sounds is a hoot

Ive never been during the seafood festival. Can anyone comment on if the seafood festival is anything like their shrimp festival in November? if it is - yes it'll be PACKED.

DK sez not a problem, no one goes to Mexico anymore....He should know, he was there once....BUT sometimes he holds the glue too close to his nose when he's working on those sprinklers.....SF will be crowded on a 3 day holiday weekend....Have fun anyhow....

Were you ever there on Memorial day weekend? In the past 10 years?

Wow sounds like I need to make reservations now. In 2013 I rolled in on a Friday afternoon & got a room with no reservation no problem, also on MDW. Thanks everyone!

So, then you know of all of the dirt bikers, three and four wheelers that kick up dust and make a crap load of noise in town all day.

You two remind me of two kids in the back seat of a car on a long trip......"but mommy, he touched me".........

You both need to get over yourselves or take your personality conflicts to off-topic or u2u

Your third grade antics are annoying and detract from what this board is supposed to be about

Oh, and no reply is necessary from either of you
