I can not log on to your blog, Blanca. All I get is something about making my own blog.

Not sure of your plans, but my recos for London:

If you arrive early in the AM, post red-eye, try to stay awake & walk around in fresh air/sunshine. It's likely still chilly there, but stays light till 11 pm this time of year- lots of time to sightsee!

Ride the "Eye" (I suggest making reservations for a guided ride, in advance) for a good overview of the city. Walk over the Thames to see Parliaent, Big Ben etc. across the river.

Take a water taxi to Greenwich, look at the halls set up to feed veterans (the murals inside are outstanding). Hike up to the obsrvatory, straddle the grand meridian and be in two time zones at once, "zulu" hour. The museums there are also a great intro to nautical history

You like plants: take the train to Kew Botanical gardens- amazing collection, lovely walk, fun day trip.

More history: a bus trip thru the countryside to Bath (roman era city) and Stonehenge (ancient history); go on a tour in the evening, after it closes to others, and you can book a tour to get inside the rope lines as Solstice approaches and really get a feel for those old stones)

Museums are free- National Gallery is grand, free docent discussions at various times. Cafeteria downstairs good place to snack.

My niece was posted to the US Embassy there for 2 yrs, still never had time to see all the amazing history/attractions etc. Fabulous city... Enjoy enjoy enjoy.... !!

Are you going to other cities/countries? The hi speed trains make travel fast/comfy/affordable. Day trips are a breeze... book in advance if possible.

I would love to go to Poland to go fishing. That must be all they do there. I would love it. All my life I've been hearing talk about the fishing poles. Wow!

No go for accessing your blog for me, either.

I signed in under my Google password, but in order to see yours I would use the "add" blog to follow it. Problem is, your link doesnt show the URL of your blog and, as I understand it, that's necessary to begin "following" your blog.

Blanca, I am no expert on Spain, but I have read a few guide books in the last two months (Steves, Lonely Planet, Trip Advisor website).

Sevilla really sounds like a must-see city. You might want to go there on your way to Madrid. I do know there is a high-speed train between Sevilla and Madrid, so they are only separated by two hours on that train.

Maybe consider a Granada-Sevilla-Madrid route from Valencia.
