Long term rental

I am moving to Ensenada to teach in August and although they provide shared housing I am looking for something on my own closer to the water.
I need a 2 bedroom, dog (beagle) friendly with as much included as possible, and preferably furnished to a degree on a bus route or easy taxi ride to CALP International.
Prefer 300- 450.00 per month.
I know it's a tall order, but anything close to above would work :)

Thank you and I'm excited to be coming!

Your location is on Ave Ruiz, between 11th and 12th

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ensenada,+Baja+California,...

I would suggest arriving early, book a local motel for a week and look around. feet on the ground is better. You will find what you want instead of what somebody thinks you want.

You also need to check out the Micro routes and schedules

Not much water front/view near the school

Thank you. I'm staying at the school housing once I arrive. I will probably have a week or two before school starts to look around.

You might want to check along the water north from the Hotel Coral to the San Miguel tool booth.

Walk or check down every driveway and ask the local residents.

Also that area along Hwy 1 has scheduled Micro service. You can either take the Micro into town and transfer or find a route from Hwy 1 (near the Hotel Coral/Soriana Supermarket) to the area of 9th street to Ruiz

Thank you! I was looking at that area on google maps and it looks lovely. That area would be ideal, not too far away from the school.

check out places that are for sale. Many owners will rent the place instead of selling it. They're just trying to lower the overhead.
San Miguel will have places that will fit your need. El Suzal will to but harder to get on the water.

Another suggestion

Another area, "south of town" would be the Rancho Todos Santos/Playa Hermosa area.

https://www.google.com/maps/@31.8362655,-116.6098872,18z

Between the beach/malecon and east to Pedro Loyola and south to Calle Florista.

On Micro Routes, great beach, plenty of places to eat

PS: When you get to town, stop by an OXXO or a 7-11 and pick up a city map

It's been my dream for 40 odd years to be live near the water, San Miguel looks very promising. I don't need much else besides a place to lay my head and a second bedroom for when my kids visit. (and internet of course)

That is incredible, that's exactly what I have pictured in my head Bajaguy, thank you. I wonder if the rental prices are reasonable there?

I know there are a couple of mobile home 'parks" there, rates should fit your budget. Just look around, up and down every street.
