Thanks. I've added these to "watch later" for viewing on the HD big screen tonight.

rip?

Is there any reason some are "Rip to the Tip" and others "Rip to Cabo"?

Rip to the Tip was previously aired on Fuel TV.

Rip to Cabo currently airs on CBS Sports.

New network = new show name.

Another good reason could have been that we Baja people know where 'the tip' is, most everyone knows where 'Cabo' is... Pure marketing!

That they had so much trouble climbing the widowmaker makes me feel better about how BajaMur and I got thrown off our rides there, back in 1999... and that I chose well naming that grade!

That trip was the subject of my first web page on VivaBaja.com: http://www.vivabaja.com/missionsm/

I watched the 2013 edition this morning. It felt pretty cool to see them show all these places that few people actually get to see in person, and to know that I've been to most of them on my bike. Made me feel fortunate.

Saved 2014, and 2015 for later.

The 2015 show was great, as it had new areas and a lot of time was spent with our amigo Pancho at Bahia San Rafael. Other highlights included the Bill Nichols trail (Rock Trail) from below Puertecitos west to Hwy. 1, the Widowmaker and Mission Santa Maria, and all then kids at San Ignacio.

Watched 2014 and 2015 as well.

2014 was almost comical with rider after rider getting injured, and having to stop.

I like stuff that I can get through with a big adventure bike. It looked like there was a lot of really difficult trails that I probably wouldn't have enjoyed (or be able to handle) on any bike. The rocky stuff didn't look like fun.

Well I missed it, did not record it either. Got caught up in Fathers Day celebrations with daughter, grandson and 10 month old great grandson. Hope they have a replay.

They usually do... and while I still have my DVR, you can see it here!

[We are considering dropping Direct TV as the costs just skyrocket after 1 year, so we got one of those Red Rhino boxes to watch anything... if I can figure out all the options and stuff. Maybe I can find CBS Sports shows on it too?]
