On a few events, Joe Malagon himself has brought our gathering into his private basement, invested hours giving us a chance to do barrel tastings, explaing his wines, lounging around with us for quite a long time. This isn't the sort of treatment you get at different wineries and B&Bs. Also, the sustenance is extraordinary, the rooms are extremely agreeable, and there is dependably a campfire, music, or something amusing to do around evening time. Now and then Joe Malagon and his family are even there doing it with you.
