It would seem to me a bait plane put out by the Mexican cops would put a dent in these thefts. Has that ever been done to anyone's knowledge?

Has to be a hell of a bad feeling watching your ride disappear onto the horizon knowing you have a 25 mile hike thru the desert to get to help.
