I know there is a marine engine mechanic shop on Reforma (Hwy 1), believe it is just south of the new PEMEX/Circle K complex, same side of street, across from the Air Force base and before you get to all of the segundas.

Somewhere near the La Quinta Bonita motel

Is this at El Cipres Military Air Force Base on the way out south from Ensenada?

There is a yamaha outboard motor dealer in the north end of town within a few blocks of Anthony's. I think it is on a street that parallels the harbor street, one block to the east. They could probably steer you towards a mechanic. Perhaps they have one on staff.

Thanks BF, I called Leon, he told me that these type of motors don't have a cylinder head and it was very difficult to diagnose my motor (frozen), then I looked it up on my SELOC manual on section 8 and there it was: a block head.. I think he's busy doing other stuff and just brushed me off.

I'll be going to Ensenada next week and see what I can find out, bajaguy mentioned this lead:

UPDATE

I posted this a couple of days ago...........

I know there is a marine engine mechanic shop on Reforma (Hwy 1), believe it is just south of the new PEMEX/Circle K complex, same side of street, across from the Air Force base and before you get to all of the segundas.

Somewhere near the La Quinta Bonita motel

CORRECTION:

The shop is SOUTH of the segundas across from the Air Force Base in Chapultepec. It is on the east side of Reforma (Hwy 1), before the turnoff to Estero beach
