I think he is counting on it, should he need a rescue or water drop-off.

"he better get jamming. +20MPH winds coming tomorrow thru friday: http://sailflow.com/map#28.935,-104.762,6,1,!1319,2"

Unfortunately, he lost a good day of no wind above Remedios - probably waiting it out until the coast was clear and has had relatively perfect weather since.

What concerns me is that he may not know what is coming this afternoon and choose to spend the night in Guadalupe Bay. There is a reason why the south end has a huge sand dune! As long as he makes it out of Guadalupe Bay to the south the west winds won't be so much of an issue for him.

Tonight's Spot ping is an important one...

I doubt he cares if he has to sit it out for a few days while the wind does its thing. It is not a race.

Is he desalinating? Maybe just one of those small ones that take forever to pump.

Graham will probably stay north of Remedios (current location) for at least a couple of days (depart Thursday?).

Sailflow is calling for extremely strong west winds tonight (47 mph gusts!) and into Wednesday before what appears to be nice conditions for the rest of the week - conditions that will allow him to enjoy and explore Guadalupe bay.

Interesting that Sailflow and Windalert, two wind prediction sites owned by the same company, could have predictions that disagree so much. Windalert show winds through Wednesday at less than half of what Sailflow is showing. Windfinder is in agreement with Windalert.

http://windalert.com/en-us/Search/ViewResults.aspx#29.426,-1...

http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/bahia-de-los-angeles

According to Windalert and Windfinder, there wont be daytime winds under 15 knots until Saturday or Sunday.

The town of Bahia de los Angeles is only showing a 9mph breeze out of the west right now.

What's the latest report? Have we pinpointed the location and time of his morning ritual? Maybe coordinates of his first granola bar of the day? Maybe we can get a Google earth picture of his toilet paper remnants. Hope he is having a fun trip.
