Loreto Scuba in May

Hello Amigos,

We are going to spend a few days in Loreto before heading to San Juanico at the end of May. Was wondering what the water temps for diving are and what we might expect. Any dives in particular you recommend? I'm a novice that just got my open water. She has her AOW with lots more experience. Heard good things about Dolphin Dive Center so will check them out.

Thanks!

Diving at the offshore islands near Loreto is excellent. Dramatic walls, tons of fish, chance to see big animals like mantas, mobulas, dolphins. It's been a long time for me and my old favorite dive outfits are gone now but there is a shop called Dolphin Dive Center that gets good reviews. Also most of the hotels can arrange trips for you. Water temps in May should be high 70s although everything in the eastern Pacific is warmer this year. Have a great time!!!
