The pleasure is mine!

I first met "The Lizard Lady" when she attended my first Viva Baja party in October 2000. She had just published her first GPS Baja guidebook, "All About Your Whereabouts"

[The late] Carlos Fiesta (BajaExpo.com) and Kacey Smith (author of 'All About Your Whereabouts', http://www.bajagpsguide.com/) who came from Colorado for VIVA BAJA!

I tried to contact her via the website almost 3 years ago and finally gave up. I'll be interested to know if you have success.

Just got an email from Kacey. She's aware of the problem. Fix will come after the holidays.

Same to you Ed! I hope we can four wheel again together! It was great fun last April on the Pole Line Road.

Going to try another trip in April or May. Wife said she wants to go. Probably do a big loop Hwy 1 to 5 and everything in between. Like a northern Baja highlight reel.

I introduced my future wife to Baja on New Years weekend 2005 with a trip like that, done in just 3 days! Down Hwy. 1 and up Hwy. 5. Stayed at Baja Cactus first night and Camp Gecko deluxe cabin the next 2 nights. Came home via Gonzaga Bay. Pavement was not south of Puertecitos and the road to San Felipe beyond Puertecitos was mostly gone or pot-holed half the way. It was rushed, but a great intro for her to see some of the cool stuff in northern Baja.

We saw mission ruins, petroglyphs, pictographs, La Gringa, Coco and more!

Here are the photos: http://vivabaja.com/105/
