Hola from Mulege

just a quick note to all our Nomad amigo?s back home....it?s a great 80 degs today, and we?re in the sports bar in Mulege watching some football!

WE have to wait at least three weeks before we can come back home to the cold and the fog...but we?ll get by some how!

we had a great o?night stay at the Baja Cactus Hotel in El Rosario on the way down...room 103...was quiet...didn?t even hear the Jake Brakes from the trucks coming down the hill! Try it you?ll like it!

all the best...

Ray and Pat

Road great
Didn't get stopped much by the Army

Was going to stop at Antonio's BajaCatus Hotel also but it was only 2:30 PM...too early to stop fo the night...

Mulege had more visitors than last Jan.

Hello Ray and Pat! You lucky dogs!! If you get a chance, stop into Jungle Jims along the river and find out which night they serve those fantastic chile rellenos - not to be missed. I'm not a big relleno fan, but those were out of this world.
The 4 o'clock crowd at the bar can be quite entertaining also.

Chili rellenos at the Jungle.......

those good chili rellenos from Guadalupe's kitchen are on Thursday's and it's a good idea to get there early. Mighty tasty with a Pacifico from that rascal, Bart.

The bar is full of escapees from a Hemingway novel.;)

Capt. Mike....Anna's fuego...about 9-10 years ago, I think...we all took up a collection to rebuild with a fireproof roof..everyone gave a little (or a lot) from here to Pacific Beach...Cass St. Bar was a big donor. Now there's some new owner/operators..couple from up northwest US...we have only ate there twice, but seems okay.
