In actuality, the restoration of the New River has been hailed as an environmental success story. The creation of wetlands to filter the water and
allow for sunlight to purify it has improved the water quality to an amazing extent. If this approach were used on a larger scale to treat the three
billion gallons of sewage that is discharged off Southern California via deep water sewage outfalls every day it could restore the ocean water quality
in the Southern California bight, allowing for baitfish populations to rebound, and at the same time restore the Colorado River Delta. It might even
be possible to someday duplicate the high water quality offshore Baja California!
There are no deep water sewage outfalls in Baja. People complain about the litter in the Tijuana River Valley and ignore the much greater amount of
pollution discharged in the ocean from NOB; the entire flow of the Colorado River, diverted, chlorinated and used once to flush toilets in Los
Angeles, then head south of the border to fish because the water in the Southern California Bight can barely support life.

I fly-fished on the New River once, and caught hundreds.

I'm starting a Michelin-type Guide project that will rate PEMEX washrooms on La Baja. Please post the results of your inspections for compilation into
an iOS app. No version will be available for Android. Ever.

He's gonna be living so madly
"Today is forever!" So he claims...
He's talking about dying, it's almost tragic baby
But don't you worry about today
We got freedom coming our way!
Freedom coming our way...
There goes EZ, EZ-Rider
Riding down the Highway of Desire
He said the free wind gets him higher
Trying to find his heaven above
He's dying to be loved, dying to be loved......
