Anyone building in Los Barriles ?

Just curious if any Nomads are currently building or getting ready to start building in the Los Barriles/Buena Vista/East Cape area ? Its my understanding things are picking up and contractors are getting busier, with that are prices going up ? I'm getting plans finalized soon and would like to start the process within the next year I already have the lot in BV.
Thanks

Not a bad idea, I do get the Pony Express but they're not really a forum. Thanks

Things are picking up here in the E. Cape, especially with the devaluation of the peso. Contractors are available, but will be busy soon. You may want to consider picking up one of the already built homes, as materials continue to go up, and it does take forever to build. That said, I am doing a major addition, and am here for the duration.

We actually looked into buying an existing home but with all of fees involved in selling our existing lot, that is paid for, just didn't pencil out. It sounds like I need to get on it now due to pricing and contractor availability.

I just finished building in LB and my contractor is busy! Cement has gone up and rebar and castillos go up all the time, 3x $ of states. Start asap and bring your wallet!

We just broke ground in La Ventana. Builders here are busy and prices are rising but our contract is in Pesos so lucky for us. Good luck!

I looked at some existing homes and I am getting more bang for my buck building though those were asking prices not selling prices
