Baja Beat at Serenidad Pig Roast Saturday

The Baja Beat was invited to play at the Serenidad Hotel on Saturday for their Pig Roast. This has been a long standing tradition in the Mulege area and they have extra crowds due to Semana Santa, so we were happy to accept the invitation and avoid the places on Conception Bay until next week. We begin at 6:00 so come out and have a great meal and music beside the pool.

I plan on being there Saturday, April 2nd. Look for the Black/Gold F350 Ford with a dual slide cab over, South Dakota plates. Stop by and say hello.

A dunce cap because she missed a chord. No actually it was a wall hanging she just happened to be standing in front of. If you look at the Armando's Restaurant posting, she is back to normal. (Well, sort of)

Nice to see this post AND not to have negative comments. We last stayed there end of October and it was pretty much the same as we have experienced for 30+ visits over 25 yrs. We like and appreciate what Don has done with this resort over the years. Many great memories and hopefully a few more.

Well, we had a big turnout last night and played for almost 4 hours until they started to leave. It was a great evening, Don Johnson showed up and walked around greeting everyone. I met some of the daughters last night and they are definitely of the Johnson Family. There were somewhere between 150-200 people in total spread out over a large area. They wanted us to come every Saturday and while we can not do that, we will be back frequently. It is a real tribute to Don Johnson that they can still turn out a great meal, the hotel was in overflow due to Semana Santa, and the great enthusiasm of the diners made our job really easy.

Well Chuckie, we would have liked to had you there as well, if we could not have roasted the pig we might have verbally roasted you instead. We had fun "scarfing Pizza" before you left.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the new "mullet" haircut that Jim is sporting.
