This is about a km or two south of where Hwy. 1 becomes very narrow (km.0), south end of the towns of San Quintin and Lazaro Card##as.

Look for a large sign on Mex. 1 to the Old Mill. Turn west onto this dirt street, passing fields of dirt clods. You'll first come to a dirt street running no/so - turn left. Los Olivos campground (you might see a sign for this), and Jardines are on that street (1/2 block from each other).

Interesting that a place you can just about see from the highway has so many ways to get to it!?? It is 1 or 2 Kms. south of Km. 0 (which is where the newest/ 1973 section of Highway One begins... skinnier than the highway north of Km. 0.)

Here is their link: http://www.hotel-jardinesbaja.com/

It is well signed (or was) at the highway

Hi Ed turn in to road at old mill sign, newly paved. Then Lt turn at first intersection.( Dirt road ) Make reservations as they are sold out most nights. If you dont show by 6pm,they may cancel you. Try to call them on your ride, before 6pm.

They used to have a lighted sign on the highway but last time it was in disrepair. Good luck. You'll find it. Just drive in a half mile off the road and look for palm trees and a garden.

Ed, do you want the GPS for it? You will turn west off Hwy. 1 about a half mile + north of it and it is about a half mile + west of the highway on a parallel dirt road.

I think it will indeed be hard to find it in the dark. GPS is not a bad idea.

Are you saying that the road into Old Mill is now paved? That would be a nice improvement.

Good news. We did the road in December and had to deal with the construction. It was a big mess. On the way back from the Mill we found the turn to Jardines and an easier way to the hwy.

finally, the road to the old mill is PAVED ! YEAH !!!!!! hope it does well when the rains come. we'll be at jardines and the old mill in june. we hope the fish are biting ! especially the white sea bass and possibly tuna. and, will be bringing back home DOZENS of oysters too.

jardines mex # 011-52 - 616 - 165 - 6060 on their website, they have a U.S. number but IT DOESN'T WORK.
