Well you are in the tourist business, so you aren't going to give a straight answer...The one answer I did get today was no Dorado...

Tournaments coming up the next two weekends in San Carlos. We'll see what happens.
I managed to scratch three dorado today. Just lucked onto the right paddy AND I had live bait. None were over 10 lbs. Many really small ones.
I've heard of exactly TWO dorado over 15 lbs caught this year. The billfish are here, though.

Dorado are very plentiful here in New Mexico right now, at Walmart. Maybe they aughta change species for the tournament; $1 for first, $1 for
biggest, and $1 for most sand bass caught in a one-hour time limit, and free beer for a $100 buy-in.
I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!

the dorado tournament yet? Are there in Dorado in MULEGE....HINT! Both these questions can be answered yes or no...

Chuckie, relax. The Mulege Dorado Tournament is the 3,4,5th of June. I have seen no dorado yet, but we are getting some great action on billfish.
The Punta Chivato Tournament, Twentieth Anniversary, will be held the 24, 25, &26th of June.

For those interested, there were a handful of dorados caught during this tournament. The two largest went 34 and 31#s. So there you go.............

Yeppers, at least 4 over 20 lbs. Now everyone is getting ready for the Punta Chivato Bulls Only Tournament on the 24, 25, and 26th. First prize is
$1,000, so that should get Chuckie out of Kansas.

As always with the Mulege Dorado tournament, the Dorados were not notified, they do not wake up this early.

Six or eight were caught in the recent tournament in San CArlos, Sonora, over the past weekend. The largest were in the low 20s.

If 34 and 31#ers are small to you than you must be a big game fisherman?
