Hoping for ride south from Ensenada to GN or Vizcaino or Asuncion on July 28 or 29th next week

Hey travelers...me again! The party is nearly over for my grandson as I am returning Izaak to Ensenada next week and sure would like a ride south on either thursday or friday. As always I offer a free room to anyone who wants to come to Asuncion and can share gas, buy lunch whatever and promise not to talk too much...hahaha. Otherwise I can jump off at Guerrero Negro or Vizcaino too.

Here are a couple highlights of his visit...

Please forgive me Shari. We have met. I just have to ask the question as to do you have a drivers license and or a vehicle? Having been on this forum for many years, I cannot help but wonder why you would not.

That said, your grandson is gorgeous.

of course I have a drivers license and a Dodge truck....but it is not reasonable to take my truck to Ensenada if i am going alone or just for a few days. I dont need a vehicle there. It's a long drive there and back and for example this time i was only going to take Izaak home so it is a quick trip.

I have really enjoyed ride sharing and it works great for both me and the people driving down who have room for me. I usually take the bus but a ride is way nicer if and when available.

Because my daughter lives in Ensenada, I regularly go to visit Does this answer meet with your approval?

Ride sharing and car pooling was part of our live in Canada to help reduce our carbon footprints and help each other out...I wish more people would do it!!!

I think a road trip with Shari would be GREAT! do do it with her and her family would be even better. She's a great person and her insights to small town life would be very interesting. There might be a little whale knowledge shared too. One of these days.

That would be cool! The last year has been a poo storm and I am getting through it. I need a new truck, and I am hoping for a week in the late fall, (stay tuned). I will contact you with more info as it gets figured out.

Ride sharing is a great idea for many folks....for social, economic, and environmental reasons. I have noticed frequent requests on BN
for caravan company, folks asking for "I have something that needs to get to Baja/upnorth" free deliveries, and such "sharing.

Perhaps, most importantly, Shari's knowledge of where there are the best taco stands between Bahia Asuncion and Ensenada is worth it.....:saint:
