You are foolish young lady to hitch hike in Baja or mainland Mexico...
I hope you entered contact information so next of kin can identify your body....if it is found.....
What are your plans if no buddy comes through?
I guess you can not afford a bus...adios......

It sounds Scary the way she posted. You would need to have male with you. Hitchhiking with thumb out dangerous anywhere.

It's obviously very dangerous for a female to hitchhike alone ANYWHERE on the planet today. But you already know that and like others here in the thread, I suspect you're just trolling...

Pretty much if you see a woman hitch hiker..she/he(haha) is prolly a hooker....or a naive backpacker from Canada or New Zealand.

What people do here is ask the gas attendants to help them find a safe ride down the road as these guys know most of the vehicles and where they are going. I have hitch hiked like this before with success...and it's easy to hit up gringos as you can tell they are tourists...surf boards, kayaks etc. and that can be a fun, safe ride.

So it sounds like Shari and I are the only ones who have experience hitchhiking in Baja. I love when people chime in that have no experience doing the action questioned.

There are many places in the world that hitchhiking is safe and fun.

Chen-find a nice male partner for your adventure and go have fun. You meet a lot of great people hitchhiking and are more open to the real culture of Baja which translates into ADVENTURE!.

Definitely a troll, the email domain is a well-known source of Chinese spam (I prefer the Hawaiian version). Send to that address at your own risk.
