San Ysidro Double Booths - Sun 10/16

Northbound @ San Ysidro on Sunday approx 5:30pm:

We were travelling in Fastpass Lane, but when we got to the gates before the booths we saw that most if not all Ready Lanes had both front and rear windows manned.

We weren't paying attention before so did not notice if they were moving faster or for how long they might have been double-manned.

A few in our vehicle mentioned that they had not seen that since a few times right after construction was completed and it was in the standard lanes. Hope it is the beginning of a trend and also for the All Vehicles lanes too...

Good news if the double manning of the booths continues. I use the Sentri lanes and mostly find the lines moving very slow. I haven't seen two agents inspecting in a single lane since shortly after the double booths were constructed. It's been a long time.

Have more agents been hired? Let's hope so.
