Time Change ?

When do we move the clocks back? Seems like it should be real soon.

Thanks
The US and Mex change the same day? That's a first, I think.
Just got an e-mail from a friend that read this. She said that Mex changes next week, the 30th

Nope, don't do it!

The time change for your/our area in Baja is October 30th!

Russ, this is a public information message as I don't want you to be late for one of your important meetings!

As explained on this website, most of Mexico conforms to how Daylight Savings Time used to work prior to 2007. Starting then, clocks were set an hour forward two weeks earlier and set an hour back one week later. Thank you, George W!

I wish the whole year stayed on Daylight Savings... losing an hour of daylight, when the days are getting shorter anyway, is just such a pain. To not have any daylight to enjoy the outdoors after work each day is tough with a California lifestyle! Most of the year is Daylight Savings, anyway... so make it Standard Time here, and all year long. If they are concerned with kids going to school in the dark then start school an hour later!

There is no hour of daylight lost. We can't change the orbit, tilt, or rotation of the earth yet. Just shift your day an hour to compensate for the time change, i.e. get up an hour earlier, eat meals an hour earlier, go to work an hour earlier, go to bed an hour earlier.

I like the time change. It's tradition!
I like the early darkness in winter, the later light in summer
We lack seasons here in so cal, and the time change gives us a little taste of the seasons we are deprived of.

Barry, if you are like Goat, you don't have a job or a family you value some fun outdoor time with, perhaps?

The days are naturally shorter in the winter, why ADD another hour of darkness by moving the clock in the wrong direction for winter?

This is just chit-chat, I am not expecting Donald to propose the change in his first 100 days!

You can bet on line, I won't tell you where.
$1 on Hillary wins $0.18 for her election.
$1 on Trump wins $3.50 for his election.

Vegas is pretty accurate so I'd say the POTUS election is no longer in play, Trump will continue to milk his business prospects.
