Firing up the engines
Debbie (Lotta Tidbits) and I (Oly) just arrived back at our casa in L.B. after a 3 month, 8000 mile R.V. wander following birds throughout most of the
states west of and including Arkansas. As many of you know from blogs I post on our web-site, Debbie was faced with her ovarian cancer tumors waking
up and growing fast after being pretty stable for over 11 years. My darling Debbie qualified for a new drug administered by means of a clinical trial
at a Palo-Alto clinic in Santa Cruz, Ca. To make a very long story shorter, she has now been "stable" for 14 months after starting the new, oral,
chemo.
We've never let cancer run our lives so off we went on a most challenging journey. Debbie and I had to return to Santa Cruz every 28 days so we flew
back and forth from the R.V. to Santa Cruz. We saw birds with an attitude, like this Curve-billed Thrasher- [url=https://flic.kr/p/NAXtZa]

Now we're finishing putting out all the little fires that started while we were away and firing up our camera "engines" to once again share the Birds
