Restaurants in La Mision

So, what about those two restaurants in La Mision right by the bridge on the free road? Are either one any good? Which one has the best breakfasts? Huevos?

Yes, that little loncheria......

....had immediate appeal for me. I was with suburbanites from LA who nixed us going there. They thought it looked to seedy.

I'm trying it this weekend.

Try Magana's Tacos on the other side of the street.

Best machaca burritos I've ever tasted. On Mondays she makes albondigas soup. Fantastic. k:yes:

Where are these eateries?......

Since I love to eat...especially burritos and huevos rancheros...I have to ask where these restaurants are at? I imagine it's some place way up north between TJ and Ensenada? If so, I can try them out when I drive north again in a couple of weeks.

Pompano- They are located on the free road where it heads inland at La Mision. From the south you would exit the toll road at Alisitos/La Fonda exit and head south on free road until just before the river bridge. yummy.
