Loreto Hotel Reccomendations

Will be traveling through Loreto next month and plan to stop here for a quick nights rest... Looking for a Hotel Recommendation if anybody has one. Have stayed previously at the Hotel Plaza and enjoyed it very much, but things seem to booking up so I'm hoping to pick up a couple other options. Thanks in advance! Any other tips or recs are much appreciated!

Desert Inn (La Pinta back in the day) is pricey but has large comfy rooms, ample secure parking, and a pool. Restaurant is ok for breakfast. Longish walk into town

Martîns near El Rey Del Taco is cheap and has secure parking. Rooms are dark but very clean. Walk anywhere.

La Misson. You can get it for $75 on either Hotels.com or maybe Hotwire. It's the best hotel in Loreto by a pretty wide margin.

$75 for La Mision is a steal. Is that for an ocean view room?

Iquana Inn, 3 blocks off Malecon. We liked it very much. Last time I checked $45-$55 double bungelow inc. Kitchenette.

Stayed here one night last year and it was great. Good people and great location.

First choice though has always been Coco Cabanas.

I seriously question that one can get a room at the La Mission Hotel in the $75 range. It will be more like $130-$160.
IF you can get a room there for under $100, go for it as it is a 1st class hotel on the Malecon and walking to almost everything. Also, a great Happy Hour.

La Mision "special" on hotel.com has a price of 3228 pesos, so do the math.
Far cry from $ 75.00

second vote for Hotel Angra . You do have to walk a bit to get to major restaurants, but plenty of good taco stands close by.

The Inn & Suites just past the traffic circle (going east) is comfy, comes with a decent breakfast, and some English language TV . . . and everything works. It's closer to something you'd find north of the border and has very little Baja charm, but it's nice. And with the exchange rate, we paid around $48 last month. It's a bit out of downtown, so it's quiet, and next door to the El Nido restaurant.

It was posted here that they closed up, out-of-business. ?

Closure was bogus information. Stayed there last month. Still has great pools. 5 minute walk to the Square and Cathedral.
