I'm missing something from the negative comments on this article. All I know about Cuenca is what I read in wiki link from Dennis. There were other articles about how the Gov. is setting up consulars of sorts to protect it's citizens who are immigrants in the US -- from the US prez.

This guy believes in a liberal attitude of open borders too. Read somewhere that Cuenca is a ''sanctuary'' city -- but didn't read more to see what, if any, comparisons there are with US sanctuary cities.

These cities would be a good thread, I think. That's what MX needs. Todos could qualify as one.

The article mentions how difficult it could get for ex-pats if things get ugly between the US and MX.

Saw this in the Cuenca High Life: 2bd,2ba, fully furnished, $500/mo. Minutes walk to el centro.

US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

If Trump ever said this he'd be crucified:

The new law maintains Ecuador’s policy of not requiring special entry visas from foreign travelers with the exception of those from Cuba, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, and Senegal.

He nor his henchmen have any businesses set up there so there's nothing to worry about.

See: Saudi Arabia for reference.

It ain't about politics. It's all about international relations.
