Hotel San Cristobal Punta Lobos
I'm a big fan of the Hotel Santa Fe in Austin, Texas, which is owned by the Bunkhouse Group. They've opened a number of cool boutique hotels in the
southern U.S., enough so to prompt me to sign up for their email distribution list. Today I received an email about this hotel, which should be recognized as part of the Tres Santos project in Todos Santos. They are taking reservations starting on April 3. When
I was in Todos Santos last week there didn't seem to be much going on at the construction site, but perhaps there's much more than meets the eye...

Interesting web site. Aside from the fact that they force us to sit thru their little animation before the page loads, it was interestingly void of
specific resort photos. Yes, lots of great, feel-good photos of the area: baby sea turtles, old ladies weaving, but the closest we got to an actual
room photo was the very top of a blanket-draped couch with the Pacific in the background. Oh, but they have videos - one is surfing, and the other is
cool Todos Santos activities such as dirt bike riding. Both videos had very good production quality and were fun to watch, but nothing specific about
the resort. Should I be skeptical?

Methinks two months will come and go with the hotel being little more than the same fancy video.

| Why don't you try making a reservation for April 4, and see what happens?

If I were truly curious, I just might make a reservation, knowing that I could always cancel. On the other hand, I'm more inclined to see what happens
instead of complaining ineffectually. Besides, I'm hoping that my next trip to Baja will be closer to Pescadero.
