New Huge Gonzalez Hnos

Headed into La Paz from Constitucion you will see the enormous bright orange building on the right hand side just before Aripez RV park. They were painting the Gonzalez name on itwhen we rode by. I bet you could get 200 people in there. Anyway, no more standing on the street eating if that bothers you.

One taco at a time......

They have been under construction in El Centenario for at least 4 years now. Not a speedy operation (being financed by their carrito In downtown La Paz.) Give them another year to get things ready.

I had never noticed the name on the building before. I had assumed it was going to be an event salon, it was so big.

Driving by last week

I spotted a man tending the plants, he didn't look like a gardener (and wasn't). I asked when they would open, he said maybe never, no "clientes".

His response makes sense, since in the last 5 or six years there have been 3 different eateries within a half mile of there, all closed due to lack of business. None of them overlapped so they had a corner on the market in that part of town. I'd sure like to see a good breakfast place around here.

My only interest in food is to consume it!

Larry, haven't seen you since you moved from Centenario, stop by sometime!

Correct judy! Jonathon Sanchez runs a very nice fish taco place next to the arroyo. He has rebuilt since hurricane Marty (with more substantial columns. http://www.forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=1143

Tucker
Got any ideas why they are outside? Maybe the walls just didnt feel right...you know not the right ambiance.
Hope that the food is as good. I love their salsa/salad bar.
Provecho

I had lunch there today, nothing to write home about. Their staff was very friendly and accomodating.
