store at BOLA junction?
Is there a store at the junction of MX1 and the Bahia de los Angeles road? Looks like there is a pemex form goolgle maps. Can you buy food and water
here or in that neighborhood. 5 liter bottles of water is what I was most interested in.

No store. The PEMEX has been closed and abandoned for many years.
Load up in El Rosario or San Quintin

Joe that Pemex has been closed for years! When it was open, it was filthy, and poorly run.
I don't know if there is any tienda across the highway, but there seems to be a wrecking yard or shop of some sort.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

I semester to remember buying drinks at a little place on the east side of 1 just north of the junction. Wouldn't count on it.

Punta Prieta should have some kind of little market; there's a small market in El Rosarito next to Mauricio's Restaurant: very possibly you'll find
water and many other supplies.

There is actually a pretty big wrecking yard at the junction.
Lots of interesting roadrash trash.
But no viable business to be seen in many years.

There actually is a little store and a truck stop eatery, 2 separate businesses, on either side of the wrecking yard, same side of the hwy. Or at
least there was about a year and a half ago when I was stuck there for about 6 or 7 hours with a broke alternator. I used the phone at the store and
ate at the truck stop.
YMMV now.

We found a few stores in BOLA. Not at that junction but along the road towards the pier and off to the right at the 'T'.

You can find most anything you need in BOLA, there's a couple of markets on town.

Sounds like biking or hiking?
There is a tiny convenience store at the entrance of junk yard. Few people know because it's hard to notice unless you stop there, and very few
gringos stop. If they have any water in this store, it's probably 1-gallon bottles at a double cost compared to Punta Prieta. The closest place with
real stores is Punta Prieta. Then - a bigger place yet - BOLA.

That little store was open yesterday, and gas in barrels available across the street.

Ah, gas in barrels from Francisco y Ramon  ... Nice folks, I wonder what's going
to happen with them if/when Pemex decides to build a new station on those ruins. Not too many jobs in this area.

The new Pemex is not at the ruins of the former parador. It is going to be on the east side of the highway, just south of the intersection.
