new friends old friends A La Bocana Weekend

We are having such a wonderful weekend that I thought I would share.

Yesterday was one of those days that make you realize how glad you are to be alive:

Rex hung out at the B&B to make sure guests were behaving themselves:

The day started with one of Les's classic breakfasts- scrambled eggs, his homemade Polish sausages, tortillas and salsa:

Later on after boat cruises and lunch and naps and a safety meeting of the most important kind, we all met up at Joaquin's for one of his amazing meals!

The first thing he showed off was his new bar table:

and the famous Joaquin himself:

and old friends Dave from Abreojos and Jim from Mulege and Les for a picture:

and the meal itself -the salad, the guacamole and chips, the friend fish and the lobster!!! Oh sooooooo good:

Memories for a lifetime were made last night! So fun to have Dave and Chelo and David from Abreojos - Jim and Jan from Mulege - all join Joaquin, Chuey, us and Jerry from La Bocana

This morning we had pancakes with an egg on top and more sausage ...... yummmmmm and then I ran off to mass to pray for everyone.

Ha

And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.
