1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (Woodie!) for sale
$3,900 Woodie! Located in Baja, can be shown in San Diego for serious buyers. Imported to Mexico, all paperwork and registration current.
180,000 miles. Vehicle is in good shape for it's age, auto windows work with a little nudge now and then  Heater works, A/C needs gas.
Interior is complete and in good condition except for usual leather cracks on drivers seat.
4x4 works great. Dana 44 axles front and rear.
AMC 360. 2 barrel carb (New/Rebuilt) Runs good! HEI ignition installed last year. Motor just had a light going through with all gaskets replaced.
3 speed 727 Transmission
New Battery from AutoZone w/ 5 year guarantee.
LED Offroad lights
33x10.5 15 BFG KM2 Mud terrain tires. 5k on 'em and in good shape. Matching spare on swing out tire/gas can carrier.
All of the following are BRAND NEW or have less than 500 miles on 'em:
Shocks
Ball Joints
Sway Bar End Links
Tie Rod ends
Brakes
I've taken great care this thing and always keep up on maintenance. I've use it for fishing and camping all over Baja. Selling because I don't use it
much any more.
Would be a great vehicle for a South of the Border Adventure, or your second house down there. Can be imported back into the U.S. but I don't know if
it will pass CA smog stuff.

The Jeep Wagoneer body dates back to 1962 or so... and a two door version became the Cherokee for 1974 model year. Later both were downsized, but the
original full-size Wagoneer was renamed 'Grand Wagoneer'... and look at this, 1989! A 1965 Wagoneer was my family's first Baja vehicle.

Thanks David! Yeah, this body style is a classic for sure
I've already addressed most of the issues that older Jeeps are known for... I've rebuilt the alternator, the starter, and replaced the orig. coil pack
and distributer with a high power HEI unit with the coil on distributer which helped clean up a lot of old wires and really improves the reliability.
We also just did a tune up and replaced all the gaskets...the intake gasket, the exhaust gaskets, the valve cover gaskets and so on.
My problem is I keep spending money I don't have just doing projects I think would be cool, and I don't even use it much anymore. I keep talking to a
friend that does welding down here about making me a custom roof rack and a front winch bumper (that I would need to buy a winch for) Then sometimes I
start thinking about putting a locker in the rear diff. and on and on it goes...

Can you describe the 4WD system a bit? Part time, Select Trac or full time, Command trac? Shift on-the-fly or manual locking hubs if part time? Sweet
deal for sure!

Maybe this would be good for Coco. There appears to be enough money available and it's already in Baja, plus all the paperwork is in order.

Nope... we just learned (from TW in the other thread) that Coco needs a pickup truck to haul water and gasoline cans in. Unless someone wants to chop
the beautiful Wagoneer into a Jeep Gladiator truck!

That would have been pretty cool if it had worked out for Coco
David, the 4WD is the Selec-Trac 2WD/4WD system, NP229 with shift-on-the-fly capability; includes low-range (2.6:1)

Sunday bump! Still for sale and running good. I took it up to San Diego last weekend for opening day at the yacht clubs...car got lots of thumbs up's
from the Tesla and Mercedes drivers
