Donkey Business in Cabo

From the Gazette:

Closeout On Charity Donkey Auction
These donkeys are not going to get you further down the trail, but you're not going to be cleaning up donkey dung, either.
16 fiberglass burros were sent to 16 artists who were encouraged to paint their burro in any style they wanted. Next, the burros are to be auctioned off for three charities, you pick the charity that gets the money raised off your burro. You will see all of them displayed, so you can decide which donkey will set off your home décor the best.
There have been bids so far ranging from $500 to $4500.
This coming Saturday, from 4 to 7 pm the final live auction will occur at a party featuring live music and people with questionable taste in decorating.
Below are just two of the auction items, one which raised the $4500 and one which has so far raised $500. We leave it to you to figure out which one is the most expensive. We also leave it to you to decide which donkey would look chic with your curtains.
The party is at the art gallery Pez Gordo, in the Palmilla strip center, Palmilla exit off the fourlane.
You can also get more information and bid online at www.pezgordoloscabos.com.

wow.....art and charity! I like the first one with Kahlo. These would look great in the garden in San Ignacio where Carlotta has giraffes and other animals displayed.
