Looking for a 37" x17 tire

At Mellings. Headed to catavina tomorrow , San Ignacio Friday, bay of la Saturday. Looking to see if anyone has a lead on a loose tire. I got a side wall flat. Rim is still good so just want a tire of anyone has an old or new.

I've got another spare but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Pm bajatrailrider. Larry lives there and can give you directions. If you cant get ahold of Larry stop at the el camino hotel and ask for Jack. He speaks English and can give you directions.

I wound up with three small punctures in the sidewall of one tire on my last trip. Neither plugs, or patches will hold up long on the sidewall, but if you put a tube in the tire as well, it will make a reliable spare. You might need a boot if the leak is not patchable.

I had to try two tire shops in los Barriles before I found a tube, but it beats trying to find a matching tire!

I will be carrying a tube of the right size on my next trip.

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

There's a bfg dealer in Colonia V. Guerrero who has the larger All Terriain TAs in stock, or did when Cameron's tour had a sidewall cut Raptor and needed replacement. It is on the west side of hwy. around km. 170-172 I think.

When Roger raced the Jeep Honcho truck in the Baja 1000 and 500, I was impressed!

From the Internet Indy 500 site http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/history/people-of-i... :

Mears won just about everything there was to win in off-road, winning 20 off-road world championships at Riverside, four Baja 1000s, two HDRA/SCORE Desert Championships and five Pikes Peak Hill Climbs. He also competed in the Mickey Thompson Stadium Championship with 13 career Grand National Sport Truck Victories.

But Roger’s son Casey is the lone member of the Mears Gang that competes today, driving the No. 13 GEICO car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Casey added to the family’s impressive list of Memorial Day racing achievements when he won the Coca-Cola 600 in 2007 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Roger drove Casey’s motor home for five years in NASCAR before retiring. He does a little “motorcycle riding” and works on a 1933 Ford Hot Rod. Roger and his wife, Carol, spend the winters at a house in Baja California, Mexico.

No. On the way to Laguna Hansen. Missed a turn, and while turning around it happened in a wash. Going about .5 miles per hour.

I found one in San quintin.

The road from Mikes to Melings is rough. Some of the off camber sections can make you pucker up.
