Contact Baja Pits (El Cajon, CA) as they usually get nice race map posters made. I think they come from Baja Tym's? I will see if I can find that...
EDIT:
I have a San Felipe 250 Baja Pits poster from 2011. It has this:

Between mile 60 and 70 is a really bad section that turned us around. It goes down a hill to an arroyo with deep wide ruts and a drop off into the arroyo. But a blade can fix it.

We'll be heading north on race day. Ens will be gridlock so we're gonna give the 5 a try. Where is a good spot to watch for an jour or so north of SF if possible? The 5 doesnt render well on that map.

B500
San Felipe section will be south on Diablo then south at Morelia Jct then Chanate then Amarillas, back to west of the arches then dump road then traditional route to 3 poles and San Matias.
The road labeled "Moto" on my previous post on Ed's thread has been rebuilt and the race will use that one. Still not info on the other washed out track to the north of"Moto".

Look for dust clouds to the west as you drive north from San Felipe. There are limited roads over the race route. Then you would take Hwy. 3 just after the military checkpoint towards Ensenada to see it closer.

Of course, you are going this way to avoid Ensenada traffic, so you will lose that time gained with San Felipe area race traffic and watching. The race cars are often well spaced apart so far from the start. Best to just camp along the course and make a day and evening of it. Try and see which side of the road the dust blows to, if there is a breeze.

There are many places to spectate along Highways 3 and 5. But remember that the leaders won't get to the San Felipe area until around 16 hours after they start, e.g. bikes will arrive in SF around 9pm Sat.

From ENS, if you want to see the leaders at a reasonable time of day, then it might be best to head south of Highway 1 toward Camalú.

Jim, 16 hours? About 6 hours for 300 miles for the fastest racers.

Edit for Woody: If the Trophy Trucks begin at 11 am, then look for them to be near San Felipe beginning around 5 pm(again, depends on when they leave Ensenada). If you find when they predict the first four-wheeled vehicles to begin, add 6 hours for San Felipe. They are racing the clock, not each other, for the fastest time.

I always like watching them roar across the dry lake bed @ the 240 marker.
Once met Malcom Smith out there by chance, that was COOL:D
