A friend is gone

Sergio Gomez, son of Romulo Gomez Sr. of "God and Mr. Gomez" fame, has passed away. Sergio was a friend, a benefactor, and a sage advisor to me and others whose dreams would never have been realized without him. He had a caring soul, a wicked sense of humor, and a knack for making sense of things that don't seem to make sense. DEP, Sergio, you will be missed.

DEP.

I thought I read that he passed several weeks, or months, ago?

RIP

The book God and Mr. Gomez inspired our "home" (camper on a cement slab) and eased our concerns at settling at La Salina back in the late '70s.

Life is so short, make every day as special if you can.

So sad, DEP
