Excellent! Please post photos.

But.....wait........maybe a tent inside a tiki hut inside a yurt. :O

A palapa on a concrete slab and a trailer underneath works.

A boat is only a hole in the water to pour money into!

Buy a cheap 20-24 ft trailer If you shop you can find them for way under $5000, older but workable. I like my own toilet, shower and bed inside when the wind starts to blow and the rain is horizontal. You gotta dump the crap once in a while, fill the water tank and buy propane if you use it but beyond that its cheap. We've had a 40 yr old one for almost 5 years and spend 7-10 weeks a year in it and it costs us basically nothing.
Just make sure you find one that has not ever had roof leaks. You'll kiss a lot of frogs before you find a princess.

Yeah, it always comes back around to a trailer.

I am planning one of my commando style fishing trips to Bola for June -July. Probably a 4 day weekend.
Can't wait.

Those bamboo structures probably arent as easy to tow to a new location, as a trailer, either.

We are now approaching the age when there are cheap, used toy haulers out there, too. They are finally old enough. How about a small one with an ATV or moto, being towed by a Tacoma or an F-150? Basically, most ANY vehicle with a 5k towing capacity might work, so you could go SUV, but I like a truck bed. For a short day trip to somewhere really remote, you could put the atv/moto in the back of the bed and drive to the remote area.

There might literally be no where you couldn't go, and relatively inexpensively. Get one with the springs above the axle(s). If the trailer is stopped short by sand or mud, deploy the exploration pod and day use the area, spend the night and then scram. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Oh yeah, just have a damn tropical bamboo scene painted on the side. It's more practical.

If you find a locale you like, contract for an area to put the toy hauler on cement for a few months. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Buy a trailer. I live in "Tin City" they give trailers away here. Or an RV. They might pay you to take it.

Here's an interesting, simple, unconventional toy hauler. Dont necessarily need to store the toy inside, in an environment like Baja. Pop out beds can be real nice on hot nights. On cold nights, just sleep inside.

It's a big long for real off-roading, but a nice, compact living space. Tow it around, until you find the location of your choice and buy bigger.

Yeah, a trailer is a nice option but you have to look for the model that fits your preference
