Wow no ones coming to San Ysidro to shop for shoes? And that street in Tijuana where Americans 'use to go' is doing so well with Mexicans buying ceramics and sombreros?

Gosh dang President Trump...there he goes again. To bad he can't do something about the border wait lines that those Mexicans who won't spend their money here because of him seem to wait in for a long time just to not shop in San Ysidro.

I suppose Saturdays and Sundays will be like a ghost town at the northbound border gates soon.

I was in the San Ysidro commercial district last week, couldn't find a place to park when I wanted to stop for a Subway sandwich. Also went to the large plaza on the west side of the freeway at the border a couple of Sundays ago. Parking lot was packed. Mexican plates everywhere.

On the other hand I went to the Washington dental clinic in TJ on Ave Revolucion midday 2 weeks ago, it was rather quiet for being the main drag. Great service and prices BTW.

Maybe a discount sombrero store in San Ysidro would show those shops on Revolution some good ol' American capitalism!

I did my part. Got a Trump piñata during my SY border wait. Can't wait to smack that thing!
