Trouble in Paradise.
Today's paper (Santa Rosa, Ca.) had this article. Look at the one at the bottom right.

Correction. Go to Page A10 for the article that starts "2 Heads".

Troubling news, no matter where it occurred. This is another article stating that it is near the Cabo Pulmo preserve, but from other reports, it
sounds like it is actually no where near it!
Anyone down there now that can clear that up?

Anyone down there now that can clear that up? | It's no where near Cabo Pulmo. The location of the 18 bodies
is actually more than 30km (18.64 miles) from the south border of the Cabo Pulmo national park, but only 3.5 miles from the Puerto Los Cabos marina at
San Jose. It's about 57km (35.41 miles) from the site to the community of Cabo Pulmo, which is about a 1hr & 45min drive. The site is near the
gravel road that goes to down to Buzzards from the paved road.

Not sure but I recommend steering clear of used coolers.

Somehow i doubt these thoughtless attempts at puns would be made if any of these people murdered were your sons, daughters, spouses or dear friends.
I live near here part of the year and my local friends are fearful, worried and very sad about what is happening to the place they call home.
Cartels and their turf wars exist because of American's appetite for drugs, which is now ravaging Mexico due to cheap meth.
If you think about it, it is really not very funny at all.

I agree, not funny.
But blaming it on all Gringo druggies is a cop-out, as long as unbridled corruption and impunity dominate Mexico.
|
Not to mention the huge meth problem all over Mexico. Scumbags killing scumbags doesn´t make me sad.

I don't blame it ALL on gringos, just blame it MOSTLY on gringos.
According to DHS, mexican cartels annually take in between $19 and $29 billion from US drug sales.

Here's a thought: Seriously, what do you think would happen with the Mexican cartels if the U.S. drug market suddenly dried up?
|
they'd step up their pirated goods, extortion, prostitution, kidnapping and lucrative mining business?
