It ultimately is not about who is more to blame gringos or Mexicanos, but is about PEOPLE , the families whom are being devastated by the horrific
effects of substance abuse , greed and misery.
How about the opiod crisis America is facing? Maybe some of you have a family member or friend who has lost someone dear to them trapped in the cycle
of addiction. This problem transcends borders, walls, and culture. it just plays out differently.
No doubt the cartels are made up by some who seemingly have lost their humanity. They make millions on human trafficking as well.
let's not lose OUR humanity and decency by making fun of heads in a cooler. The effects of drug abuse can touch us all.

azucena,
Thank you for your insight. It is very thought provoking and inspiring.
There's a time for laughter and jokes. This is not that time. It's likely that most of those who were assassinated has an extended family that is
devastated in one way or another.
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our ideals, that we forget to be good humans.

Wouldn't it be nice if one of those ideals was to be a good human being

If humans could figure that out, the world would be a much better place. The sides that we take and the
organizations we support and the groups that have righteous agendas are often fundamental in creating the issues that divide us and often dissuade us
from caring for other humans that are different from us. The things that bind us together also move us apart.

As John Lennon said ......................
"Imagine".
For whatever good that it does.
Human nature hasn't changed to any extent in a few thousand years.
And, there's no indication that it will.

Interesting article, but is about synthetic opioids. Scary stuff. People really need to get the point across to their kids. Taking drugs is risky as
is, but taking something basically unknown, from someone with no accountability, is just crazy.
The U.S. cracked down on the over-prescribing of actual opiods, and then BAM, what do you know, a new market opens up. Interesting how China has the
chemicals, labs, dark web and distribution channels to jump right in there. Maybe that's part of the reason the MX cartels are trying to regroup and
recoup some of their market share.
