Your pic looks like large diameter pan-fried. Do they do smaller size, grilled Venezuelan-style? The venezuelan type are really better, have you found them in TJ?

I love the Venezuelan arepas, do not know the Colombian arepa.

however I found that the Mexican Gorditas, are very close to the Vzl. Arepa.

I had some Venezuelan Arepas last weekend at the SANCOCHO festival. These were larger giving you more bang for your buck.
