Old mill in San Quintin

Is there secure parking for dirt bikes? Usually stay at Jardines but looking to change things up.

I have stayed there several times, and never had a problem. I think the area is fenced off now.

The courtyard area is fenced and you can park directly in front of your room. You might want to throw a lock around your bike just to be safe.

Yes. In your room with you. That's what I do when I race moto and the tracks are always in or near sketchy neighborhoods.

You might have to move a bed outside at the Old Mill. Rooms are on the small side and most have 3 beds in them. It is a favorite destination for the moto tour groups and is probably more secure than Jardine's.

In the past Javier (I hope that is correct) gave us a ride to Jardine's and back for dinner. He is now running a new restaurant on site now and the food was excellent when I were there last Feb.

Stayed there last Saturday night. Room was clean. Beer was cold and the food Javier cooked us was great.

Ed, did you leave the bike outside or bring it in?

We locked the 3 bikes together outside but directly in front of our room. The room had 4 small beds. No room for bikes.

Thanks for the feedback. I always lock my bike when in Baja. I used to not, but hear too many stories of bikes getting rolled away at night.
