Oregon/Rogue

We are going to be near the Rogue for a week or two by the end of the week.

Definitely not Baja but any recommendations for a Rogue 1 day rafting company and then a salmon fishing guide?

We have seen plenty online but recommendations are highly appreciated!

Peace!

Wow, Howard, that looks awesome.

No reason we won't make it there.

We were thinking of trying to get up to Lake Wallowa where my sister lives but I don't want to be on the road all the time.... thinking we will concentrate on Western and Southern Oregon.

Ashland, crater lake, and journey between crater lake to Klamath falls to modoc plateau,... great area to visit. Mt Shasta and surroundings ain't bad either.

Downtown Ashland has a great park for kids, and just hanging out on summer evenings. Some good food too.

Jerry's jet boat tours.....right in the marina at the mouth.

Lots of salmon guides ply that area around the Hwy 101 bridge.
Yack one up in the parking lot.

Awesome, Ashland is definitely on our radar since my niece lives there and another of my sisters will be there from the Right Coast to visit!

Fun! I'll be rafting the Rogue in September for 4 days with OARS. I have done so many trips with OARS, I highly recommend them, but I don't think they do day trips.

Our departure point is Morrison's Rogue River Lodge:

It does look like they offer day trips. I haven't used them, but if they partner with OARS, chances are they are top notch.
