The article shortchanges the history of Kokopelli. Yes, it started as a food truck, then added a "puesto" in Food Garden food court on Sánchez Taboada, and then moved to a brick and mortar on Antonio Caso between Sánchez Taboada and Agua Caliente. The newest location of Tras/Horizonte with name change is only a block away. The old name of Kokopelli has been added to the site, so it's easy to see going north on Cuauhtémoc Sur. Going south from the border is a little awkward because it's necessary to loop around.

The review goes on about the snails, but doesn't mention that the menu now includes desserts. There is a full bar now. Prices are reasonable and the food is a good as ever. I don't know a place with higher quality cooking and cheaper prices in Tijuana. And you can sit down with lots of elbow room for a larger group.
