New Title - San Felipe Ceviche Festival
Ceviche Festival on the Malecon San Felipe, first of September?
Weather, crowds, hotel rooms available? Is it a big deal?

Speaking of ceviche... Mariscos San Ignacio, across the highway from the Pemex, next to the carne asada taco place, was excellent. He gets fresh
everything from various sources in Baja Sur. Thought I would mention it for anyone in the mood for shrimp, abalone, octopus, etc.

I would not eat raw seafood in sept in san felipe. Too hot for anyone there to maintain adequate refrigeration. What is that, hottest month of the
year in hottest place in mexico?

So, with most of the world living in hot, tropical places, do you think they are not able to eat healthy? It was 92, on the beach in San Felipe last
week and the same here in La Paz. Are only norteamericanos able to have safe food? Why hasn't this horribly hot (seriously, it's only 92°F) weather
killed everyone who lives here?
Wow goat, if I said something like that, you'ld screem racism! Give the Mexicans some credit for having great food all year... but do avoid raw
clams!!! Lol.

Not commenting on refrigerated seafood, but I don't believe
food in Mex that is past prime is necessarily disposed of
timely. Not sure food is thrown out, the chips in a basket
on the table may have had 10 kids pawing thru them. But
it is Mex and with that comes a bit of the unknown
