Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

A Tiger? / Folow up

You have to be kidding! They got caught in secondary. Hope they throw the book at them but will probably get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again.

Tiger is in good shape but the jerk is out on bail.

Sadly the only thing illegal about this is that he didn't do the import permits and paperwork - at least by federal law. I'm not sure about California's state laws. But it's disturbingly easy to acquire and own large exotic animals in most parts of the US.

From the article:

"Valencia initially told investigators that he purchased the cub earlier in the week from a man who was walking a "full-sized tiger on a leash" through the streets of Tijuana. "

yeah, sure thing.

Anyway, considering the way things worked out, the guy's actions ended with the tiger getting a great home!

For some reason, I'm reminded of the Mango scene in "Apocalypse Now."

Some cartel heavys, for one, like to have private zoos. Remember when Hank Rohn, questionable past mayor of TJ was busted at the border bringing in a White Tiger cub....kitten....whatever they're called?
