Natives definitely restless. Carry on but stay vigilant.

US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

Our small town of San Carlos fell victim to this type of violence two days ago. Four killed in town and two more on the same night in Guaymas proper.

Two guys were killed right on the boulevard in San Carlos, with many witnesses around. Another car arrived just as the perps were making their getaway and opened fire on the fleeing car. No innocent bystander was hit, fortunately. There is a video.......

https://www.facebook.com/FM105Guaymas/videos/156474814692590...

Two other persons were killed as part of a kidnapping/hostage situation. Apparently some persons in paramilitary outfits came to the residence where the hostages were held and shot two of the perps. Five people escaped. Newspapers are speculating that the paramilitary guys were a rival gang. They were apparently not part of the State or Federal police, or there would have been something official about the release of all those hostages.

Just read a NY Times article about how the state of Colima has done a complete about face, in terms of violent crime. What used to be one of the safest states in Mexico is now the most dangerous. Especially Tecoman.

Apparently May and June were the deadliest months for murder in Mexico, since they began keeping track in 1997. 2017 is on track to be the deadliest year ever, even surpassing 2011, which I believe was the high point.

Federal and state agents are checking all vehicles coming in to San Carlos from Hwy 15.

Hook, I am So Sorry for the Violence in Your Area

I just got scolded big time for reporting this news on a Rosarito Facebook group. The remarks were, "It's in La Paz, Los Cabos and has nothing to do with us."

As JR would say, "Those chicken coopers don't know s..."

TFN, we have troops and state police at "strategic points" around our city of about 3000. They will be patrolling, too.

The War on Drugs finally comes to San Carlos, Sonora.
